rtsp.me lets you open the streams of existing gas station IP cameras in a browser on a computer, smartphone or tablet. A network manager gets a consistent set of fields of view without switching between the apps of individual stations.
The archive helps you review visible episodes, and monitoring reports a loss of signal. Video is not an industrial or fire safety system and must not create a false sense of automatic oversight.
Connect gas station camerasA wide shot helps you judge the queue at the entrance, how busy the pumps are and the situation by the shop or the wash. Head office can clarify the picture before contacting the station manager.
A recording gives visual context when reviewing how a customer was served, a supplier arrival or contractor work. The facts are compared with till data, logs and staff explanations.
A camera with an available RTSP stream is connected to rtsp.me without having to replace the recorder. Support for H.264 and H.265 suits common IP cameras.
Installation and the network must meet the site's requirements. Online access is not opened directly to devices in the operational technology segment; the architecture is agreed with information and industrial security specializts.
Core features for a single station and for a network:
Choose wide fields of view that show no payment data and no protected infrastructure.
Review the list of users and the signal loss response procedure regularly.
The following wide shots are the most informative:
Video is not used to detect a leak, vapour concentration or safe clearance to carry out work.
A live wide shot of the forecourt shows the queue at the pumps and the situation at the entrance.
LIVECurrent load on the pumps and the entrance.
Consistent camera names let head office find a station and the right area quickly. Viewing helps you judge the visible workload and contact the manager, without sending any automatic commands to the site.
Fields of view used for internal oversight are kept private. Public embedding is possible only for a specially chosen, depersonalized shot, if the owner allows it and it does not reveal how the site operates.
The cloud archive lets you go back to a chosen period and compare the picture with till events, the shift log or service times. The retention period is set according to your operational goal and data requirements.
rtsp.me notifies you when a stream is unavailable. The service does not diagnose gas station process equipment and does not replace scheduled connectivity checks.
The frame must not include PINs, payment data, internal documents, access codes or details of protected infrastructure. Access to the archive is restricted, and staff and visitors are informed in line with the applicable rules.
Video does not replace fire detection systems, gas detectors, leak sensors, emergency shutdown, process interlocks, occupational safety, instructions or staff. When there are signs of danger, decisions are made according to procedure and the readings of dedicated systems.
Connect existing IP cameras for private viewing of the forecourt, a chosen archive retention period and notifications about signal loss.
Get visual context on remote stations while keeping mandatory safety systems, procedures and staff decisions independent of video.
